March 19-27, 2014 Shopping Kyoto's Temple Flea Markets and Hot Springs soaks.

We invite you to join us for 7 days in Kyoto to shop Kyoto’s two largest temple flea markets for antiques of all kinds, including clothing, ceramics, wood carvings, tools - it's all there and prices are negotiable. When not at the flea markets you will tour temples, shrines and gardens, create your own silk scarf at a silk dying studio in the village of Ohara, followed by lunch and a soak at an onsen, spend a day in Uji, one of Japans foremost green tea producing areas and have lots of time to stroll the city on your own. This tour, which is limited to 8 participants, is offered March 19-27, 2014, for $2800, plus RT airfare, and includes double occupancy accommodations in a Japanese ryokan with two meals a day, all land transportation and entrance fees. Pack an extra soft bag for taking home all those treasures you will find at the flea markets.
